AI Security Engineer (Contract)

Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia (On-site)

As AI adoption grows, we’re expanding our cybersecurity team to secure AI platforms, applications, and enterprise AI deployments.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an AI Security Engineer to secure AI applications, models, and cloud infrastructure across enterprise environment with Red Teaming capabilities.

You will identify security risks, implement security controls, monitor threats, perform AI security assessments, and work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure AI solutions are secure by design.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure AI applications, models, APIs, and cloud workloads
• Perform AI threat modelling and security assessments (AI Red Teaming)
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in AI systems
• Develop security standards and best practices for AI deployments
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to AI-related security incidents
• Review application architectures and configurations for security risks
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams
• Support compliance with industry security standards and regulations

Requirements

• Practical experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Security Engineering
• Knowledge of secure application development ,LLM, RAG, MCP, APIs, and threat modelling
• Understanding of network, cloud, and infrastructure security
• Familiarity with AI/ML security concepts, APIs, containers, or Kubernetes is an advantage
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Professional certifications such as CEH, Security+, OSAI highly preferred
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Recommended

• Experience with AI Security, LLM Security, Prompt Injection, Model Security, or AI Red Teaming
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, NIST AI RMF, or MITRE ATLAS
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, SIEM, SOAR, or DevSecOps
