We are looking for a Software Developer & Project Implementer to join our software company. This role is responsible for developing software features, customizing systems, fixing technical issues, and supporting project implementation for customers. The person will work closely with the project coordinator, business analyst, customers, and internal technical team to deliver successful software projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, customize, and maintain software applications based on project requirements.
* Understand requirements provided by the project coordinator or business analyst and convert them into working software features.
* Support system implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
* Work with customers and internal teams during project implementation to ensure the system works according to business needs.
* Analyze technical issues, troubleshoot bugs, and provide proper solutions.
* Perform software customization, module development, workflow changes, report development, and system integration where required.
* Support data migration, data import, system setup, and user access configuration.
* Assist in preparing technical documents, system flow, configuration notes, and deployment records.
* Support UAT by fixing issues reported during testing and ensuring all agreed requirements are completed.
* Work with the project coordinator to update task status, development progress, issues, and estimated completion time.
* Participate in project meetings when technical explanation or implementation support is required.
* Ensure code quality, system performance, security, and maintainability.
* Provide user training and handover support when required.
* Support post-live maintenance, bug fixing, and customer support.

Technical Responsibilities

* Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
* Develop new features based on functional and technical specifications.
* Modify existing systems based on change requests or customer requirements.
* Create and customize reports, dashboards, forms, workflows, and system modules.
* Perform API integration with third-party systems when needed.
* Manage database changes, queries, and data validation.
* Conduct unit testing and support system testing before delivery.
* Prepare deployment packages and support version control practices.
* Maintain proper documentation for custom development and technical changes.

Implementation Responsibilities

* Configure the software system based on customer requirements.
* Support system setup, master data preparation, and user role configuration.
* Assist customers during testing, training, and go-live preparation.
* Guide users on system usage and standard operating flow.
* Collect implementation issues and coordinate with the project team for resolution.
* Ensure the final system matches the approved requirements and project scope.

Requirements

* Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
* Experience in software development, system implementation, or ERP implementation is preferred.
* Good understanding of programming, database, APIs, and software development lifecycle.
* Able to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
* Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Able to communicate with customers and internal teams professionally.
* Good documentation and task update habits.
* Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
* Willing to learn new technologies, systems, and business processes.

Preferred Technical Skills

* Knowledge of Git/version control is an advantage.
* Knowledge of Linux server, deployment, or cloud environment is an advantage.
* Experience in Odoo, CRM, accounting system, inventory system, HR system, or custom enterprise software is an advantage.

Role Summary

This role combines software development and project implementation responsibilities. The person must be able to build and customize software, support customer implementation, fix technical issues, and ensure the delivered system meets customer requirements. The role requires both technical skill and practical understanding of customer business processes.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
