Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections/testing of finished products and environmental monitoring, ensuring accurate records and timely release in the SAP system.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis according to agreed specifications.
• Ensure GLP practices in analytical/inspection functions (chemical, physical, microbiological, production on-line).
• Provide technical training and support to production staff.
• Perform calibration of rapid and conventional methods, as well as analytical instruments across facilities.
• Carry out Internal Control Plans for analytical/inspection functions.
• Manage lab inventory (media, chemicals, glassware), issue PR, and handle external lab testing.
• Maintain lab cleanliness (5S) and review HIRAC/EAI as part of SHE requirements.
• Deliver GMP and personal hygiene training for new employees.
• Assist in audits for quality and safety systems.
• Support QAQC functions including FSSC 22000, HALAL, KOSHER, and third-party audits.
• Supervise and monitor lab assistants, assign daily tasks, and evaluate performance.
• Participate in sensory evaluations and support QAQC Executive when required.
• Perform any other job/function that may be assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Science or Science.
• Knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Possess Juruanalisis certificate from the Ministry of Health (MOH), Malaysia.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a similar industry.
