At BookDoc, we are seeking an exceptional Android Developer to join our esteemed software engineering team.

As a valued member, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing top-notch Android applications using Java/Kotlin.

Collaboration with fellow engineers and team members will be essential as we strive to create remarkable, mission-critical software applications that our customers can rely on for reliability and performance.

• Create, enhance, and maintain software solutions for the Android platform
• Collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products.
• Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring excellence in our projects.
• Build and publish applications to Google Play and App Gallery
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an Android developer
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, along with expertise in Android SDK, Android Studio and the related tools.
• Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with core platform features and popular third-party frameworks/libraries
• Experience in publishing applications to Google Play and App Gallery
• Experience with ticketing system (JIRA).
• Knowledge in Firebase.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and web service integrations.
• Solid foundation in computer science and engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with Android testing methodologies, such as unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Knowledge and exposure to other mobile development platforms.
• Understanding of frontend or backend web development.
• Additional experience in technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, NoSQL, or any other relevant fields will be considered a plus. Feel free to share your diverse skill set with us.
