Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage automation projects from kick-off to final handover.

• Develop project schedules, manpower planning and ensure projects are delivered on time

•  Coordinate closely with M&E Design team, Purchasing, Fabrication and M&E assembly teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Coordinate machine assembly, FAT, delivery, site installation, commissioning and SAT activities.

• Conduct regular project meetings and follow up on action items.

• Handle customer complaints, technical discussions and project-related issues professionally.

• Able to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Monitor project costs and highlight potential risks or delays.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within automation, machine building, manufacturing equipment or related industries.

• Experience in managing turnkey automation projects is preferred.

• Familiar with machine assembly processes, assembly, FAT, SAT and commissioning.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems is preferred.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools.

• Strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with China or Taiwan supplier, customers, and engineering teams.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Possess own transport and valid driving license.

• Willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas when required.
