This crucial role involves managing procurement activities, strategic planning, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations within the poultry sector. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the industry's unique challenges and opportunities

Job Responsibilities:

• Procure farm equipment, spare parts, drugs, and other necessary items as required by the farm periodically.

• Issue Purchase Orders for Day-Old Chicks (DOC) based on the predetermined schedule.

• Obtain quotations for items requested by the farm before placing orders.

• Ensure timely receipt of goods.

• Prepare feed reports.

• Follow up on invoices and Delivery Orders (DO) from each farm executive.

• Compile all documents and facilitate the transfer of Purchase Invoices, forwarding the complete documentation to the accounting department.

• Conduct monthly stock takes.

• Responsible for purchasing items for the processing plant in Lukut and Johor.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field.

• Proven experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain roles within the poultry industry.

• In-depth knowledge of poultry product specifications and industry regulations.

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.

• Proficient in utilizing industry-specific procurement and inventory management tools.

• Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret market data and make strategic decisions.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with industry-specific financial practices and trends is a plus.
