Accounting Intern

Job Description

Join our finance team as an Accounting Intern and gain practical experience in accounting and financial management within the events and exhibitions industry. You will assist with day-to-day accounting functions while gaining exposure to the business operations behind exhibitions, conferences, and events.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform data entry and ensure proper filing of accounting documents.
• Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and payment follow-ups.
• Support audit, tax, and compliance-related documentation.
• Prepare reports and assist with general administrative duties within the finance department.
• Provide accounting and administrative support during company events and exhibitions when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. SQL Accounting) is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Internship

Contract Length: 4 Months

• Medical Leave
• Additional allowance on event & exhibition day.

Pay: RM900.00 - RM1,100.00 per month
