Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and certified Chargeman (A4) to oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and inspection of all electrical systems across our property, office, and showroom operations. This role ensures strict compliance with the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) regulations while providing critical technical support for all facility upgrades, fit-outs, and building maintenance activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems, including switchboards, distribution boards (DBs), lighting, power points, and mechanical equipment.
• Provide comprehensive electrical support and building maintenance works for showrooms, offices, and the entire property, including during facility upgrades, fit-out, and renovation works.
• Install new electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in strict accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of electrical works, and verify the proper functioning of critical equipment such as gensets and fire system power supplies.
• Supervise and coordinate with external electrical contractors and vendors during specialized rectification, installation, servicing, and testing works.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including maintenance reports, logbooks, and electrical single-line drawings.
• Support the broader Facility Management team in daily operations and attend to after-hours emergencies or overtime requirements as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid Chargeman Certificate (A4) issued by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on working experience in building facilities and showroom maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems, switchboards, and wiring regulations.
• Proficient in interpreting single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Capable of handling diverse building maintenance and technical troubleshooting works independently.
• Good communication, reporting, and contractor coordination skills.
• Physically fit and fully committed to attending to emergencies or working overtime when required.
