岗位职责
A leading Malaysian food and agribusiness group that specializes in animal feed manufacturing and related food production activities, leveraging advanced manufacturing processes, automation, and continuous improvement practices to deliver high-quality products to the market.
Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting and executing operational improvement, automation, digitalisation, and application-based projects across Group operations and associate companies. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, process control, and data visibility through project implementation, system optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Coordinate and execute operational improvement projects within approved budget, timeline, and scope.
- Support feasibility studies, project evaluations, and business improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations, management, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Prepare project scopes, technical specifications, implementation plans, and progress reports.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Operational Improvement, Automation & Digitalisation
- Plan and implement machinery upgrades, process enhancement projects, and automation initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, operational efficiency, data visibility, and process control.
- Support automation, programming, and application development projects.
- Assist in the development and deployment of:
- Production and operations monitoring applications
- Data collection and reporting systems
- Workflow management solutions
- Process tracking and system integration tools
- Coordinate with external vendors, developers, system integrators, and IT teams for project execution.
- Manage installation, system modifications, and shutdown activities where required.
- Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-implementation optimisation.
Continuous Improvement & Technical Support
- Support operational stabilisation and continuous improvement programmes.
- Provide technical and system-related support across business functions.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and improvement initiatives assigned by management.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with relevant project, automation, or food manufacturing.
- Willing to travel, relocate, or be assigned to different Group companies when required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, HALAL standards, or related operational frameworks is advantageous.
