Gain hands-on experience with industrial machinery, automation systems, equipment improvement projects, and plant operations while working alongside experienced engineers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and utility systems.
- Assist in diagnosing electrical issues and implementing solutions to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain equipment SOPs, preventive maintenance schedules, and technical documentation.
- Participate in machine upgrading, automation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to support engineering and maintenance activities.
- Perform other engineering-related duties assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- Local.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Strong commitment to electrical safety and compliance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate with China-based management, suppliers, and technical teams.
- Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to production breakdowns.
Fresh Graduate / Junior Engineer
We welcome fresh graduates who are passionate about industrial equipment and automation.
Candidates should be able to:
- Read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Assist in preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and improvement projects.
- Possess basic PLC knowledge and be able to modify parameters under supervision.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and develop hands-on engineering skills.
Experienced Engineer / Senior Engineer
Candidates with relevant manufacturing experience will be considered for Senior Engineer positions.
Candidates should be able to:
- Independently manage the complete electrical maintenance and operation of a production line.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site electrical and control system issues.
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot mainstream PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc.).
- Configure and troubleshoot inverters (VFD), motors, sensors, and industrial control systems.
- Lead small-scale automation, electrical improvement, and equipment upgrading projects.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to reduce equipment downtime.
Working Hours
- Mon – Fri: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
- Alternate Saturday: 08:00 AM – 02:00 PM
- (Night shift required only when needed.)
