Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality Mathematics and Additional Mathematics lessons to secondary students in accordance with the Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE curriculum, enabling students to achieve academic excellence and develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics and Additional Mathematics lessons.
• Teach students in accordance with the Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare examination materials and support students in achieving academic targets.
• Maintain accurate student records and prepare academic reports.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and performance.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, professional development activities, and extracurricular programmes.
• Support the school's policies, values, and academic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school environment.
• Experience teaching Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE Mathematics, and Additional Mathematics is highly desirable.
• Experience teaching Cambridge International A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics would be an added advantage.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
