RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct inspection and verification of incoming raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company requirements.
- Perform routine quality checks, measurements, and testing activities according to inspection plans, drawings, specifications, and established procedures.
- Record and maintain inspection results, quality records, reports, and related documentation accurately and systematically.
- Monitor production processes and identify any non-conforming products, materials, or processes.
- Report quality issues, defects, and non-conformities to the immediate superior and assist in corrective and preventive action activities.
- Segregate and label rejected or non-conforming materials/products to prevent unintended use or delivery.
- Follow up and maintain records of customer complaints, customer-returned parts, in-house rejection reports, and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing quality reports, inspection reports, and other quality-related documentation as required.
- Ensure all inspection equipment and measuring instruments are properly handled and maintained.
- Comply with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices within the quality inspection area.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior or management from time to time.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of working experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fields. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Measuring Tape will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System will be an added advantage.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
