Company Description Rooftop Energy is building the digital backbone of energy operations through its flagship platform, RooftopIQ, an end-to-end lifecycle management system for energy developers, EPCs, and energy contractors. Purpose-built from firsthand experience in high-volume solar deployment, RooftopIQ unifies project management, deal origination, asset tracking, finance, and reporting in a single intelligent platform. It replaces fragmented spreadsheets and tools with instant, weather-adjusted quoting, real-time project visibility, structured documentation, predictive maintenance, and stakeholder portals to help operators scale with speed and lower operational risk. Rooftop Energy operates its own EPC arm to test and validate RooftopIQ in the field, ensuring features are practical and ready for real-world use. Recognized under Malaysia Digital (MD) Status and backed by strategic partnerships, the company is scaling RooftopIQ for local and global markets and onboarding pilot clients to co-develop solutions for the industry’s toughest challenges.

Role Description The Full Stack Product Lead is a full-time, hybrid role based in Damansara, with flexibility for partial work-from-home. This role leads the end-to-end product lifecycle for RooftopIQ, from discovery and requirements gathering to delivery, iteration, and ongoing optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product vision and roadmaps, prioritizing features, and coordinating with engineering, design, and operations teams to ship high-quality product increments. The Full Stack Product Lead will work hands-on with product discovery, UX flows, technical specifications, and data models, while ensuring the platform remains robust, scalable, and aligned with customer and business needs. The role also involves collaborating with pilot clients and internal EPC stakeholders, analyzing user feedback and product metrics, and translating market and operational insights into clear product decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong product management skills, including product strategy, roadmap planning, stakeholder management, and requirements gathering.
• Experience with full stack development concepts (front-end, back-end, APIs, databases) and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering on technical designs.
• Proficiency in agile and lean product practices, such as user story mapping, backlog management, iterative delivery, and continuous improvement based on data and feedback.
• Ability to translate complex operational workflows into clear UX, user journeys, and structured documentation for cross-functional teams.
• Comfort working with analytics and product metrics to assess performance, inform prioritization, and validate hypotheses.
• Background in SaaS products, B2B platforms, or enterprise workflow tools; experience in energy, solar, or infrastructure operations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to align technical teams, business stakeholders, and external clients.
