ADA Group runs two exciting lifestyle brands — Eko Life Malaysia, bringing smart, eco-friendly e-bikes and e-scooters to the streets, and Barter Maison, a destination for scuba diving and freediving gear and the underwater community.

We're looking for a creative, trend-obsessed Short-Form Video Content Creator to join our team full-time. This is a hands-on role perfect for a fresh graduate or junior creator who loves making content, knows what makes a video go viral, and wants to grow with us.

What You'll Do

• Shoot short-form video content for both brands — product showcases, lifestyle clips, customer stories, behind-the-scenes, and trend-based videos
• Edit videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts — cuts, captions, sound design, pacing, and effects
• Apply hooks, trends, and formats that perform well with current social media algorithms
• Support our weekly TikTok Live sessions — help with setup, hosting, strategy, and/or reviewing analytics to improve performance
• Help maintain and improve our brand websites — front-end design/UI updates and keeping pages looking clean and on-brand
• Apply basic SEO practices to help our content and web pages get discovered
• Brainstorm content ideas with the team and turn them into finished videos
• Stay on top of trending audio, formats, and viral content styles
• Repurpose footage into multiple short clips across platforms
• Track basic performance (views, retention, engagement) and improve based on results

Requirements

• Fresh graduate or up to ~1–2 years experience in video editing / content creation
• Able to shoot video — basic framing, lighting, and audio (phone or camera)
• Able to edit short-form video using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Understanding of how TikTok / Instagram / YouTube algorithms and trends work
• Familiar with TikTok Live — setup, hosting, or live strategy/analytics (any of these is a plus)
• Basic web / website skills — comfortable with front-end / UI design and making simple updates (back-end coding not required)
• Basic SEO knowledge — understanding of how to help content and pages rank and get found
• A good eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual style
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken)
• Self-driven, organized, and open to feedback
• A portfolio, showreel, or links to short-form videos you've made (personal social content counts!)
• We provide: tripod, microphone, and editing software
• You provide: your own camera/recording device and editing computer/laptop

Nice to Have

• Interest in e-bikes/e-scooters, scuba diving, freediving, or an active outdoor lifestyle
• Experience growing a TikTok or Instagram account (yours or someone else's)
• Experience hosting or running TikTok Live sessions
• Experience with website builders/CMS (e.g. Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Wix)
• Basic motion graphics / After Effects skills
• Comfortable being on camera or directing talent
• Photography skills

Employment Terms

• Full-time position with a 3-month probation period
• Working hours: Monday – Saturday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
• 14 days annual leave
• EPF, SOCSO & EIS contributions as per Malaysian law
• Immediate start preferred

Office-based in Ara Damansara, PJ, with occasional travel to our Singapore branch for shoots (around 3 times a year)

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
