Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and impact-driven operation executive to join our dynamic team at CapBay. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and wants to grow alongside us. As a operation executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operation team by developing and implementing various programs, collaborations, and initiatives related to product and process development, financing, technology, and compliance with standards.

Roles/Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Process daily disbursements, repayments, and passthrough transactions within the agreed turnaround time (TAT) while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Monitor incoming repayments and verify transaction details to ensure all collections are accurately recorded.
• Identify payers for each repayment transaction and liaise with the Collections team to obtain any missing payment information.
• Match payment receipts against Payment Vouchers (PV) and update partial settlements, full settlements, and contra transactions where applicable.
• Maintain and update contract milestone records to ensure accurate tracking throughout the financing lifecycle.
• Prepare and reconcile daily closing reports and passthrough transaction listings for the Finance Operations (FinOps) team.
• Compile and verify daily IN Certificates before circulation to relevant stakeholders.
• Perform daily reconciliation to ensure operational records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies, transaction exceptions, and outstanding items promptly.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Credit, Collections, Finance, and Compliance teams, to ensure smooth operational processes.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks, projects, and reporting as assigned by the team lead or manager.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience in banking operations or a related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships or training in banking may also be considered.
• Experience in contract financing, trade financing, invoice receivables financing and factoring will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle transaction discrepancies.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing transactions and maintaining records.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in operation processes, technology and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
