About the Role

Voltake Energy Services Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a dedicated and proactive Project Engineer to manage and coordinate projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, project coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare project schedules, work plans, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure project activities comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Monitor project costs, materials, and manpower utilization.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support during project execution.
• Prepare project documentation, including method statements, inspection reports, and handover documents.
• Identify project risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure all works are completed according to quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in project management, electrical engineering, or the power industry.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (knowledge of MS Project is an advantage).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence (preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in power generation, renewable energy, substation, or industrial electrical projects.
• Knowledge of Malaysian electrical regulations and safety practices.
• Experience in project documentation and client coordination.
