The Role
A varied, high-impact position - here's what you'll own:
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations to maintain uninterrupted material flow
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support business growth
- Manage supplier relationships with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery
- Partner with engineering and quality teams on NPI and cost optimisation
- Control inventory, logistics, and indirect spend within budget
- Ensure customs compliance and manage government agency relationships
- Lead customer service operations, from order management to issue resolution
- Coach, develop, and empower a capable materials team
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Degree in Business, Management, or a related field
- At least 8 years' experience in materials and customer service within manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with MRP systems, preferably SAP
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
