Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring engineering projects related to substation automation, SCADA, and electrical systems, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and in line with quality and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing project plans and technical documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, managing project schedules and resources, and supporting system design, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The Project Engineer will also troubleshoot technical issues, participate in site visits and inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and solutions. Collaboration with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams is essential to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to understand and apply technical standards and system designs.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Project Planning skills to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and external partners.
• Relevant experience in substation automation, SCADA, power systems, or related industrial projects is highly beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work on-site and in field environments as needed.
