I'm looking for someone who gets genuinely excited about food, who follows the latest food trends, loves experimenting, and gets a kick out of tasting something new. Someone who believes that great bakery innovation comes from curiosity, passion, and a genuine understanding of what the market actually needs.

At Markaids, we're a specialty food ingredients company with a simple purpose: making food more enjoyable, sustainable, and healthy. Bakery is one of our most exciting and fastest-growing categories from mochi and snowskin mooncakes to breads, cookies, and beyond.

This role is not about maintaining existing recipes.

It's about helping us:

• Build and develop a stronger Bakery R&D team
• Turn consumer trends into real, market-ready products
• Solve technical challenges that others get stuck on
• Keep our innovation pipeline ahead of where the market is going

The person I'm looking for is likely someone who:

• Gets curious when a trial fails, not defeated
• Follows food trends actively and knows how to turn them into ideas
• Can lead people and hold their own in a technical conversation
• Takes ownership without being told twice
• Wants to shape something, not just maintain it

Some days you'll be in the bakery running trials. Other days translating technical findings into business opportunities. The right person will thrive in both.
