Position Details

• Salary: Up to RM 3,500 per month (approximately 4 hours of work per day)
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid role (on-site and remote). MUST be able to be on-site (USM KKJ campus) with 1 week advance notice.
• Location: Preference for candidates located near USM KKJ Campus, Nibong Tebal, Penang

Responsibilities
You will be involved in day-to-day development activities using an agile development approach, including but not limited to:

• Assisting in drone flight testing, setup, and data collection
• Developing and testing hardware components (wiring, microcontrollers, sensors, etc.)
• Integrating sensor data into the Ground Control Station (GCS)
• Selecting, integrating, and maintaining third-party Web APIs for GCS functionality
• Applying and experimenting with AI-based solutions in drone systems

Preferred Skills/Qualificatins

• Familiarity with Linux and basic electronic is an added advantage
• RCOC-B certified
