Looking for someone available locally.

The Lead Solution Architect shall be accountable for defining, governing, and delivering end-to-end technical solutions across the application and infrastructure landscape, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, migration strategy, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.  

o Review and validate vendor-proposed designs across key infrastructure towers, including network, database, and middleware domains.  

o Define the target architecture for application and infrastructure migration. 

o Validate the proposed 5R migration strategy for each application, including Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Retire, and Retain, with due consideration to technical risk and rollback requirements.  

o Provide technical oversight across integration points involving Mainframe, AS400, Open Systems, and Middleware environments.  

o Validate that the solution design complies with relevant regulatory and control frameworks, including BNM RMiT, MAS TRM, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.  

o Participate in architecture review boards, technical review forums, and design sign-off processes as the lead technical authority.  

o Conduct technical risk reviews in coordination with project and migration leads.  

o Lead technical discussions with internal stakeholders, including project teams, infrastructure teams, security, and application owners.  

Required Qualifications & Experience 

o 8 to 15+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, data centre operations, or large-scale transformation programmes. 

o Proven track record in data centre migration, consolidation, or technology refresh initiatives. 

o Experience operating in multi-vendor delivery environments. 

o Strong exposure to enterprise banking or other regulated environments is preferred.  

o Deep understanding of data centre architecture, including compute, storage, network, and virtualization domains. 

o Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure, AWS, and private cloud models. 

o Strong grounding in network and security design, including firewall rules, IP changes, and network segmentation. 

o Hands-on knowledge of application migration strategies, including rehost, replatform, and refactor approaches.
