Company Description Rise Intervention Programme Sdn Bhd (RISE) is an early intervention center focused on supporting children on the Autism Spectrum through holistic development. The center prepares children for admission into mainstream learning institutions by promoting equality of educational opportunity and access. RISE designs individualized education plans to bridge competency gaps and build confidence, helping each child develop sustainably and reach their full potential. Programmes include play-based learning for young toddlers and structured early intervention that uses varied teaching techniques and materials. These programmes aim to strengthen communication, gross motor skills, and overall readiness for mainstream education.
Role Description The EIP Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role involves planning and delivering individualized and group lessons for children on the Autism Spectrum, using play-based and structured teaching approaches aligned with RISE’s early intervention objectives. The educator observes and documents each child’s progress, adjusts teaching strategies as needed, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to refine individualized education plans. Daily responsibilities include preparing learning materials, facilitating activities that support communication and motor development, and maintaining a supportive, safe classroom environment. The educator also communicates regularly with parents or caregivers to share updates, provide guidance, and support continuity of learning at home.
Qualifications
- Ability to plan and structure lessons effectively, including Lesson Planning and Teaching skills tailored to early intervention settings.
- Strong foundation in Education and Training, with knowledge of child development and early intervention principles.
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging children, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with parents or caregivers.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum or in special needs education, including familiarity with play-based and structured teaching methods.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage classroom behavior in a calm, supportive manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documenting progress and maintaining individualized education plans.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and adapt to evidence-based practices in early intervention.
