Job Description

We are looking for passionate and motivated Kitchen Interns to join our culinary team at Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Sri Damansara. This internship provides hands-on exposure to professional hotel kitchen operations within an international hospitality brand.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in daily food preparation and cooking activities
• Support mise en place and kitchen setup
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Assist in receiving, storing, and handling kitchen supplies
• Help with buffet and banquet food preparation when required
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field
• Internship duration: minimum 3–6 months
• Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Good attitude, discipline, and teamwork skills
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene is an advantage
