Position Title: Site Engineer (Oil & Gas and Marine Repair Works)

Base location : JB Office & Available to relocate various locations as per Project.

· Prepare and review project Method Statements, Work Procedures, and Execution Plans.

· Develop project-specific HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents.

· Prepare Lifting Plans for routine and critical lifting operations in accordance with client and statutory requirements.

· Coordinate with HSE personnel to ensure all risk assessments and safety documentation are approved prior to work commencement.

· Prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and quality documentation.

· Develop work packs including drawings, specifications, material take-offs (MTO), procedures, and inspection requirements.

· Assist in preparing Permit-to-Work (PTW) supporting documentation.

· Generate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Material Take-Offs (MTO) for project procurement.

· Review supplier quotations and perform technical bid evaluations.

· Coordinate with Procurement Department on material specifications, delivery schedules, and vendor clarifications.

· Verify compliance of purchased materials with project specifications and applicable standards.

· Track material deliveries and ensure timely availability for project execution.

· Assist in preparing Technical Query (TQ), Request for Information (RFI), and material substitution proposals.

Construction & Site Management & Shutdown/ Marine Repair Works

· Coordinate fabrication, installation, repair, testing, and commissioning activities.

· Supervise subcontractors and direct workforce to ensure compliance with project requirements.

· Monitor productivity, resource utilization, and work progress against schedules.

· Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation measures.

· Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and site inspections.

· Support vessel repair, piping modification, mechanical maintenance, structural repairs, insulation works, and shutdown activities.

· Coordinate hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, cleaning, and commissioning works.

Liaise with classification societies, surveyors, and client representatives during inspections and approvals

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
