Job Description

• Manage component lifecycle including obsolescence, EOL, and PDN tracking
• Review and assess Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and coordinate impact analysis
• Maintain and govern material/component databases (ERP systems)
• Provide technical expertise (datasheet interpretation, part selection, alternative components)
• Develop qualification processes and testing methodologies
• Support reliable product design and compliance considerations
• Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Evaluate and audit supplier capabilities and performance
• Support market intelligence analysis (pricing, lead times, supply trends)
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in components or product engineering
• Strong knowledge of:
• Component lifecycle & obsolescence management
• Engineering change processes (ECO/ECN)
• BOM, PLM/ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
• Strong analytical skills (Excel, data handling)
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and supplier management
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and continuous improvement mindset
