Job Description
- Manage component lifecycle including obsolescence, EOL, and PDN tracking
- Review and assess Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and coordinate impact analysis
- Maintain and govern material/component databases (ERP systems)
- Provide technical expertise (datasheet interpretation, part selection, alternative components)
- Develop qualification processes and testing methodologies
- Support reliable product design and compliance considerations
- Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Evaluate and audit supplier capabilities and performance
- Support market intelligence analysis (pricing, lead times, supply trends)
The Successful Applicant - Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in components or product engineering
- Strong knowledge of:
- Component lifecycle & obsolescence management
- Engineering change processes (ECO/ECN)
- BOM, PLM/ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills (Excel, data handling)
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and supplier management
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, and continuous improvement mindset
