Company Description Scientific & Technical Products (STP) operates in the educational high-technology segment, delivering advanced solutions and lab equipment for technical and vocational education and training (TVET). Through integrated courseware and hands-on lab setups, STP enables students and educators to work with practical, industry-relevant tools and systems.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Intern role based in Petaling Jaya. The Technical Intern will support the design, setup, testing, and maintenance of educational lab equipment and systems across domains such as robotics, IoT, communication, and renewable energy. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with hardware and software configuration, performing functional tests, documenting technical procedures, and helping prepare training materials or demonstrations for clients and internal teams. The intern will collaborate with engineers and technical staff on product evaluations, troubleshooting, and small development tasks, while learning to follow safety, quality, and technical standards. The role also involves basic research on emerging technologies and contributing to continuous improvements in STP’s educational solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Bachelor in Engineering/ Information Technology and related courses.
• Foundational knowledge in engineering, computer science, or related technical fields, with the ability to understand robotics, IoT, communication systems, and renewable energy concepts.
• Basic skills in hardware setup and troubleshooting, including wiring, configuring devices, and using test equipment for diagnostics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards in lab environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, educators, and other stakeholders on-site.
