Key Responsibilities:
Permitting Process:
- Review and process permit applications, checking documentation and securing necessary approvals.
- Coordinate permits for telecom works, including cell towers, fibre installations, and network expansion projects.
- Ensure all permitted activities comply with local, state, and federal telecom regulations.
- Communicate with telecom operators, government agencies, and the public to handle queries and concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date records of permits, approvals, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct or support site inspections to confirm adherence to permit conditions.
- Improve and streamline permitting workflows to reduce delays and rework.
Manual Payment Processing:
- Monitor and track rent payment due dates for manual payments.
- Verify landlord invoices against lease terms (amounts, due dates, tax requirements).
- Coordinate with Finance to process payments via cheques, bank transfers, and other approved methods.
- Investigate and resolve late payments, penalties, and payment-related disputes.
- Maintain proof of payment and ensure accurate and timely financial record updates.
- Use tools such as IAM, S4Hana, Netpro, SAP, Oracle, Joget, Adobe Sign, and EASI to manage site data, lease payments, and digital signing.
Skills & Competencies (Permitting)
- Regulatory Knowledge – Understanding local, state, and federal telecommunications laws and permit requirements.
- Project Management – Coordinating multiple permit applications and ensuring timely approvals.
- Technical Expertise – Familiarity with telecom infrastructure, including fibre optics, wireless networks, and broadband systems.
- Stakeholder Communication – Engaging with telecom companies, government agencies, and the public to facilitate smooth permit processes.
- Problem-Solving – Addressing challenges related to compliance, site approvals, and regulatory changes.
- Attention to Detail – Ensuring all documentation and applications are accurate and complete.
- Negotiation Skills – Working with stakeholders to resolve disputes and streamline approvals.
- Data Management – Keeping organised records of permits, approvals, and compliance reports.
