Job Responsibilities
- Accurately calculate material needs and issue Purchase Orders with correct quantities and prices within set lead times upon receiving purchase requests.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal costs, delivery schedules, minimum order quantities, and payment terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring products meet required quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Implement supplier improvement initiatives aimed at cost reduction, quality enhancement, and delivery performance improvement.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and resolve shortages or quality issues.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including production and warehouse departments, to ensure the timely procurement, quality, storage, and delivery of goods.
- Any additional responsibilities/ tasks as delegated by the Management as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the fittings & accessories, manufacturing, or interior design industries.
- Strong negotiation skills and resourcefulness in sourcing new suppliers.
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with suppliers, internal customers, and inventory planning.
- Detail-oriented with a quick learning ability.
- Available to start immediately or within one month's notice.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
