What applies to you

The Software Engineer will contribute in the many phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) such as design, development, testing, implementation, and maintaining a scalable software solution for the organization.

What you will do

• Analyzing business application needs and requests.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug and maintain applications and databases.
• Coordinating project application development and maintenance with other IT associates or consultants.
• Write and maintain custom application programs and “green screen”.
• Converts programs written in RPG III to RPG IV/Free and RPG ILE as needed.
• Making recommendations for improvement in custom applications.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong interest in software development and RPG programming.
• Willingness to learn online and batch processing requirements.
• Ability to read and understand existing program logic to determine required changes.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
