Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IT Implementation Engineer role based in Kelang. The IT Implementation Engineer will plan, configure, and deploy IT and telecom-related systems and equipment in line with project requirements and industry standards. Daily tasks include conducting site surveys, preparing implementation plans, installing and integrating hardware and software, and performing system testing and troubleshooting to ensure stable performance. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, RF and RAN engineers, vendors, and customer representatives to support end-to-end implementation activities and resolve technical issues. The IT Implementation Engineer will also document configurations, maintain records of changes, provide user or client handover support, and adhere to safety, quality, and compliance procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in IT, networking, or telecommunications, with experience in system implementation, configuration, and integration.
• Hands-on experience with hardware installation, cabling, and on-site commissioning of IT or telecom equipment.
• Ability to perform site surveys, interpret technical drawings or design documents, and prepare basic implementation or configuration reports.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system, network, or configuration issues in the field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and on-site project demands.
• Willingness to work in the field, travel to various sites when required, and comply with all safety and quality standards.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in the telecommunications sector or with RF/RAN projects is an advantage.
