Lead and manage the evaluation and execution of mergers & acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, strategic partnerships and other corporate development initiatives to support Sime Darby Property's growth objectives.
Lead the identification, screening and assessment of potential acquisition, divestment and partnership opportunities through market research, financial analysis, valuation and strategic evaluation.
Build, review and oversee financial models, valuations and business cases to support investment decisions, transaction execution and strategic planning.
Work closely with business divisions and functional teams in evaluating and executing investment opportunities, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, commercial due diligence, investment structuring, negotiations and transaction execution.
Manage the preparation and review of investment committee papers, due diligence reports, management presentations, Board materials and research reports.
Support and manage the execution of capital raising, fund-raising and other corporate finance exercises aimed at enhancing capital allocation and optimising the Group's capital structure.
Coordinate and manage internal stakeholders and external advisers (e.g. financial advisers, lawyers, consultants and accountants) throughout transaction processes and strategic initiatives.
Provide guidance, coaching and quality review of work performed by Executives, Management Associates and Assistant Managers where appropriate.
