Job Description

We are looking for an experienced E&I QC Engineer to ensure all Electrical and Instrumentation works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing for Electrical & Instrumentation works at site.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Review and verify ITP (Inspection Test Plan) and QC documents.
• Conduct inspections on cable laying, cable termination, panel installation, and instrument installation.
• Witness testing such as continuity test, insulation resistance test (IR), loop checking, and functional testing.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, reports, and inspection checklists.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, and subcontractors for inspections.
• Raise NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure all materials and equipment meet project quality requirements.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities when required.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in E&I QC (construction / oil & gas preferred).
• Strong knowledge of E&I standards, codes, and inspection requirements.
• Familiar with QA/QC documentation (ITP, method statement, inspection reports).
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and at site environment.

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
