Job Summary:

The Technician is responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting works to ensure all mall facilities, equipment, and systems are operating efficiently and safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of mall facilities and equipment.
• Carry out repair and maintenance works for electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and mechanical systems.
• Monitor and maintain lighting, escalators, lifts, water pumps, generators, and other building systems.
• Attend and resolve maintenance complaints from tenants, shoppers, and management promptly.
• Ensure all maintenance works are performed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Record daily maintenance activities and prepare basic maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with external contractors for servicing and repair works when required.
• Assist during emergency situations such as power failure, water leakage, or equipment breakdown.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and kept clean.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years working experience in building or mall maintenance is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge in electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general maintenance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
• Good discipline, responsible, and able to respond to emergencies promptly.
