Job Summary:
The Technician is responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting works to ensure all mall facilities, equipment, and systems are operating efficiently and safely at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of mall facilities and equipment.
- Carry out repair and maintenance works for electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and mechanical systems.
- Monitor and maintain lighting, escalators, lifts, water pumps, generators, and other building systems.
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints from tenants, shoppers, and management promptly.
- Ensure all maintenance works are performed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards.
- Record daily maintenance activities and prepare basic maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with external contractors for servicing and repair works when required.
- Assist during emergency situations such as power failure, water leakage, or equipment breakdown.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and kept clean.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years working experience in building or mall maintenance is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge in electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general maintenance.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
- Good discipline, responsible, and able to respond to emergencies promptly.
