Supervising the performance of Pre-Contract and Post-Contract quantity surveying team to ensure quality and timeliness in delivery
Active participate in Pre-Contract tender and quotation exercise by way of supporting, reviewing, analysing, verifying, providing recommendation to management for signing off
Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules and making decisions about the purchase of materials to be use in projects
Ensuring that each senior or junior quantity surveyors runs his/her section to the highest professional standards, that all information is current and that every member of the team is receiving the information he or she needs to fulfil their responsibilities
Manage and prepares management of provisional sum expenditures and project budgets
Forecast and reviewing estimation expenditures and prepares monthly cost reporting
Preparing as required, cost estimates for each potential change of projects
Quantifying and estimating costs for all proposed variations and change orders
Establishing and maintaining consistent and adequate administration procedures across the projects
Measurement, pricing, valuation and negotiation of Post-Contract variations
Generating and processing necessary change order documentation
Identify, analyse and responses to commercial risks and reviewing the commercial aspects of proposed contract changes
Resolving requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes and contract claims
Liaison with Project Site Team, Clients, Consultants etc
Liaison with clients, consultants and/or Legal Team for matters including but not limited to contractual disputes, non-payment etc
