Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a highly skilled Web3 Platform Engineer to design and build scalable blockchain applications and digital asset platforms.

This role offers the opportunity to work across backend systems, web applications, mobile platforms and smart contracts while contributing to next-generation Web3 and DeFi solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in blockchain or cryptocurrency development
• Strong proficiency in Python and REST API development
• Experience with Angular and modern frontend technologies
• Hands-on experience with Flutter development
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and AWS
• Strong Git workflow knowledge and Agile development experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain APIs and microservices for scalable systems
• Develop, test and deploy smart contracts and blockchain applications
• Work with EVM-compatible chains and emerging blockchain ecosystems
• Integrate DeFi protocols, NFT standards and token standards
• Optimize transaction throughput and blockchain performance
• Build responsive web applications and cross-platform solutions
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and engineering teams
• Ensure system security, scalability and reliability
• Stay updated with protocol upgrades and emerging technologies

Pay: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
