Our client in the financial services industry is seeking experienced Data Engineers to build scalable data platforms and support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern data technologies, develop ETL pipelines, and contribute to machine learning infrastructure and enterprise-scale data platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Python experience
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
• Good understanding of database design, data models and data transformation
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark or Dataflow is an advantage
• Familiarity with Prefect, MLFlow or machine learning tools is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines
• Build and optimize databases and data collection systems
• Develop ETL processes using Python
• Ensure data quality, integrity and accessibility
• Analyze trends and patterns in large datasets
• Maintain documentation for data and analytics processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
• Support machine learning infrastructure and experimentation platforms
• Drive continuous improvement of data architecture and workflows

Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month
