Assistant Project Manager - Full time

Location: Shah Alam

Industry: Food, Feed, Biofuels, and Oleochemical

Salary: RM 11,000

Responsibilities:

• Manage complete project lifecycle from planning to execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with contractual requirements.
• Establish Progress Measurement System and monitor completion status.
• Set up recovery/mitigation plans for critical deviations.
• Update project cost forecasts and provide client status updates.
• Oversee procurement, vendor coordination, and contractual compliance.
• Manage client change orders and resolve disputes until project closure.
• Monitor fabrication status and coordinate with workshops/QA teams.
• Efficiently allocate resources and lead internal/external stakeholders.
• Handle claims from clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• PMP Certification or equivalent project management qualification.
• 8–12 years of project management experience (minimum in oil & fats industry).
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Extensive knowledge of process plant equipment and functionality.
• Strong resource management, leadership, and team guidance skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to drive improvement.
• Open to international travel.
