We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Intern to join our Purchasing team at Paradigm Mall JB. This internship provides hands-on exposure to purchasing operations, supplier coordination, and procurement documentation. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to gain practical experience in supply chain and procurement processes within a dynamic retail environment.
Job Descriptions:
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs).
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and conduct comparison analyses.
- Assist in maintaining procurement records and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining supplier databases and contact information.
- Verify purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
- Ensure procurement documents are properly filed and recorded.
- Update reports on purchase orders and supplier contact information.
- Organize procurement files and contracts.
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and approval workflows.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Business or relevant studies.
- Must be able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good interpersonal and documentation skills.
- Attention to details and numbers.
- Able to operate MS Office - Excel & Words.
- Position is based in Paradigm Mall JB.
- Internship period 3 - 6 months.
