Job Description

The Design Engineer – Light Construction Equipment / Agricultural Machinery is responsible for the conceptualization, design, development, testing, and enhancement of Light Construction Equipment / Agricultural equipment. This role involves collaborating with the engineering team, procurement, production, and marketing to ensure that the products meet market demands, quality standards, and manufacturing feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new Light Construction Equipment / Agricultural machinery and components based on market research and user requirements.
• Modify and improve existing products to enhance performance, reduce cost, and improve usability.
• Conduct design calculations, material selection, stress analysis, and prototyping.
• Generate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement and production to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the testing engineer to conduct field trials and performance evaluation.
• Follow ISO quality procedures and internal engineering standards.
• Support after-sales and service team in analysing and resolving field issues.
