Main Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Inspect motors, transformers, switchboards, MCCs, control panels, and electrical distribution systems.
- Maintain maintenance records and reports.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, PLC systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Install electrical wiring, cable trays, conduits, control panels, and power distribution equipment.
- Perform electrical modifications and upgrades on machinery.
- Assist in commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Verify proper operation of protective devices such as circuit breakers, relays, and overload relays.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) requirements.
- Ensure compliance with DOSH, Energy Commission (ST), and company safety requirements.
- Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Update electrical drawings and maintenance records.
- Prepare maintenance reports and spare parts requisition requests.
- Maintain equipment history records.
- Monitor critical electrical spare parts inventory.
- Recommend procurement of spare parts to support maintenance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required to support project goals.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Familiar with the use of electrical testing equipment for troubleshooting and inspection.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
- Familiar with relevant safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and handle breakdown situations effectively.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
