Position : Software Engineer (C# .NET)

Salary : RM 3,500 – RM 6,000

Location : Damansara Uptown, PJ

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer (C# .NET) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and applications. The role focuses on building reliable APIs, improving system performance, and delivering high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise systems
• Improve application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
• Work with MS SQL and Firebird databases for development, optimization, and support
• Participate in the full SDLC including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Maintain and modernize legacy systems while ensuring smooth integration with new solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for systems, APIs, and processes

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience in C# and .NET / .NET Core development
• Solid experience in RESTful API and backend system development
• Proficiency in MS SQL with strong knowledge of query optimization; Firebird experience is an advantage
• Good understanding of software design patterns and system architecture principles
• Experience with Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
