We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Intern to join our team. This role provides practical, on-site exposure to manufacturing operations, quality control, and continuous improvement activities. You will work closely with production engineers and Operators to support daily operations, analyse performance data, and implement efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations and shop floor activities to achieve production targets while ensuring compliance with EHS and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, 5S) to enhance productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and safety.
• Collect, consolidate, analyse, and validate operational and production data (e.g. yield, cycle time, downtime, reject rates, energy data) and transform it into actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain standardised data templates, dashboards, and visual reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI to support production and energy tracking.
• Assist in documentation activities, including creation and updating of SOPs, work instructions, technical documents, and improvement project records.
• Provide support for quality control, inventory and Kanban management, tooling availability, and administrative coordination of small-scale improvement projects, including action tracking and reporting.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering with CGPA 3.0 and above.
• Strong interest in manufacturing operations, shop-floor activities, and process improvement within a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts) and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or data visualisation tools is an advantage.
• Familiar with data structuring, cleansing, analysis, and reporting best practices to support operational decision-making.
• Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on, proactive, and eager to learn, comfortable working in a production environment (including PPE usage).
