Role Overview
This internship is designed for individuals who want to learn by doing not observing. You will be part of our client-facing team, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and their staff. If you are meticulous, proactive, and genuinely enjoy working with people, we want to hear from you.
This is a high-exposure, high-responsibility role. You will handle real work from day one, supported by experienced supervisors who guide rather than micromanage.
What You Will Be Expected to Do
A. HR Operations Support
B. Client Support
Experience & Knowledge Requirements
All criteria below are expected. No exceptions. We recognise you are an intern — however, foundational knowledge and the right attitude are non-negotiable.
1. Event & Programme Support. Exposure to event or programme coordination — logistics, scheduling, documentation, or post-event administration in any capacity (academic, organisational, or professional).
2. Professional Communication. Comfortable communicating professionally with people at all levels — via email, phone, or in-person. You carry yourself well in any setting.
3. Payroll Awareness. Basic understanding of how a payroll cycle works — what happens before, during, and after processing. Willingness to learn quickly and handle basic payroll queries from client staff.
4. HR System Familiarity. Exposure to any HR or payroll system beyond Excel. You are comfortable learning new platforms.
5. Statutory Compliance Knowledge. Basic understanding of EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, and HRDF — contribution rates, deadlines, and compliance requirements at a foundational level.
6. Active AI Tool Usage. You routinely use AI tools to improve the quality and speed of your work — not occasionally, but as a consistent part of how you operate.
7. Workplace Resilience. You do not allow difficult colleagues or client behaviours to affect your professionalism or output.
8. Adaptability to Change. You adapt well when processes or priorities shift. A stable environment is not a prerequisite for you to produce quality work.
9. Independent Task Prioritisation. You manage your own workload and understand the difference between urgent and important without needing to be told.
Personality & Working Style
1. Communicates Well. You know when to speak, when to listen, and how to read the room. You are confident without being disrespectful.
2. Solves First, Escalates Second. You identify solutions before escalating. Your supervisor advises — they do not carry your problems.
3. Fast and Precise. You work at pace without sacrificing accuracy. A near-zero error standard is personal to you.
4. People-Oriented. Difficult clients and ambiguous situations do not drain you. You find them interesting.
5. Feedback-Receptive. You welcome correction from anyone — junior, peer, or senior — and treat it as a tool for growth.
6. Mentally Resilient. You maintain composure and professionalism even under pressure or in challenging environments.
7. Comfortable with Routine. You are not looking for flexibility in hours. You are comfortable with routine and consistency.
8. Thrives Under Pace. A slow, low-volume environment does not suit you. You want to be where things are happening.
9. Meticulous. You notice what others miss and take care of things others overlook.
