INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY – LOGISTICS INTERN

Internship Duration: 4-6 months

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Allowance: RM1,000 per month

About the Role

Volvo Malaysia is seeking enthusiastic and driven students from Logistics, Operations, or related fields to join our Logistics team. This internship offers hands-on experience in logistics operations, documentation, and exposure to the heavy commercial vehicle industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quotations and handling immigration-related processes.
• Gain hands-on experience in managing logistics operations.
• Support promotional activities, advertising, and sales efforts for trucks.
• Monitor and maintain the fleet of trucks to ensure operational readiness.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining transportation and customs documentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or other related fields.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Competency in project management is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of the automotive or heavy commercial vehicle industry is preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
