Work Schedule: Monday–Friday

Our client in the financial services industry is seeking an Angular Frontend Tech Lead to drive the development of high-quality web applications while leading and mentoring a frontend development team. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on Angular development with technical leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience building Angular applications in production environments
• Strong experience with Angular 15 and above
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience leading, mentoring or guiding frontend development teams
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and asynchronous services
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp or Grunt
• Experience using Git version control systems
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest is an advantage
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend solutions and user interfaces based on business requirements
• Lead, manage and mentor the frontend development team
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers and QA teams to deliver responsive applications
• Implement responsive designs across devices, browsers and screen sizes
• Write clean, maintainable and scalable code following development best practices
• Optimise application performance, speed and responsiveness
• Conduct testing to ensure reliability and usability
• Stay updated on Angular and frontend development trends
• Work closely with QA teams to identify and resolve defects
• Implement unit testing practices to improve software quality
• Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote coding standards, best practices and frontend development excellence
