Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Provides monitoring and response to security events and SLA as part of the escalation point from Security Operations Centre (SOC) and managed services provider.
  • Engage in proactive hunting for security threats and malicious activity
  • Continuously evaluating effectiveness and functionality of threat intelligence systems and integrated data feeds.
  • Tracking and responding to events, alerts and requests submitted from a variety of sources
  • Provides support for incident management, including evidence collection, documentation, communications and reporting
  • Perform penetration testing of systems, web sites and networks to discover vulnerabilities
  • Conduct regular security awareness program through various channels, i.e. induction, advisories, newsletters etc.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Good understanding of IT Security Standards (ISO27001, COBIT, etc.)
  • Knowledge in database & regular expression queries
  • Advanced knowledge in using MS Excel
  • Experience in administrating network equipment, i.e. firewalls and proxies
  • Familiarity with various Operating Systems (Windows, Unix – Linux//HP-UNIX)
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure
  • Ability to conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
  • Ability to document processes, writing of system and functional specifications.
  • The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, clearly and succinctly.
  • Demonstrates good listening and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to build and manage relationship with vendor and users, including all levels of management
