Responsibilities:
Review material specifications from the project team and request quotations from suppliers.
Extract material quantities from drawings and forward them to suppliers for quotations.
Prepare and analyze price comparison sheets.
Evaluate and compare supplier offers.
Negotiate contract terms and pricing with suppliers.
Coordinate and monitor purchased materials to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate and updated records of purchased products, delivery schedules, and invoices.
Update the supplier database and unit rates in the system.
Requirements:
Possess at least a Graduate Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience in purchasing within the construction industry is an advantage.
Proficiency in Mandarin is required, as the role involves using an internal system developed in China.
