Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance & Master Data Specialist who's responsible for the creation, maintenance and governance of master data across the organization and across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. The role also not limited to master data but will be exposed to AR/AP/Costing Function.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update master data in accordance with business requirements.
• Assist in maintaining standard cost & pricing structures.
• Support data cleansing and standardization activities by gathering data from ERP system and CRM tools and reprocess the data in a common/standard form to bring out the best of data-driven insights.
• Perform inventory adjustment and reconciliation processes.
• Assist in reconciliation for rework and stock written off (claim cost vs master cost)
• Monitor and follow up outstanding customers payments and delinquent accounts.
• Record and apply customer payments accurately and on timely manner in the accounting system.
• Validate and issue credit note and/or validated e-credit note on trade claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• To take on any additional task as and when required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field. Professional certifications are a plus.
• Open to fresh grad, but having experience in master data or related roles, preferably in the FMCG industry is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software (SAP or similar), Microsoft Excel (intermediate or advanced level) and Power BI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and capable of meeting deadlines.
