Job Description:

We are looking for a high-caliber Project Manager to drive the end-to-end delivery of our enterprise software engineering and cloud-native integration projects. In this role, you will not just be a timeline tracker; you will be the strategic quarterback steering cross-functional teams (Software Engineers, Mobile Developers, and Business Analysts) toward successful execution. You must possess a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), master the art of mitigating scope creep, and excel at managing relationship dynamics between corporate clients and internal development teams.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Delivery: Own the full project life cycle from initiation, scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline mapping, to final deployment and post-launch maintenance.
• Agile Governance: Establish, champion, and optimize Agile/Scrum methodologies within the engineering team, leading high-efficiency daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives.
• Stakeholder & Scope Management: Serve as the primary corporate interface for high level stakeholders and clients. Actively negotiate and manage project scopes to prevent scope creep while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical, resource, or timeline bottlenecks. Formulate data-backed risk contingency plans and execute swift issue escalation and resolution.
• Resource & Cross-Functional Sync: Collaborate heavily with the Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineers, and Business Analysts to translate functional requirements into structured technical sprints, balancing engineering velocity with software quality.
• Tooling & Governance: Standardize and master the organization's project governance stack using Jira for ticket lifecycle tracking and Confluence for engineering blueprinting and release notes.

Requirements:

• MALAYSIAN ONLY
• Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline, with 5+ years of professional experience in Project Management specifically within the Software Development / Tech Industry.
• Methodology Expertise: Deep hands-on mastery of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall frameworks. Possession of professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) is highly preferred.
• Technical Familiarity: While you don’t need to code, you must be comfortable understanding technical architectures, APIs, and modern tech stacks (e.g., Cloud, Mobile frameworks, Databases) to facilitate effective technical discussions.
• Tools Proficiency: Advanced expert user of Jira, Confluence, and interactive timeline mapping tools (MS Project, Gantt charts, Asana, or *************).
• Soft Skills: Master-level corporate presentation, exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and native/fluent English communication.

Working Location: Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Salary: Starting from RM3500 and above (negotiable)

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
