DevOps Engineer (CI/CD & Application Deployment)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support application deployment, automation, and CI/CD initiatives for enterprise-level projects. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy building efficient deployment pipelines, automating operational processes, and collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.

You will play a key role in managing application deployment workflows, developing automation scripts, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support software delivery and deployment activities
• Automate deployment and operational processes using PowerShell and Python scripting
• Manage source code repositories and development workflows using GitHub and GitHub Flow practices
• Support application deployment across various environments
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployment pipelines and release processes
• Collaborate with development, testing, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability
• Ensure deployment processes follow established best practices and operational standards

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, application deployment, or related areas
• Strong experience with PowerShell scripting
• Strong experience with Python scripting
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Flow
• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting application deployment and release management activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with deployment automation tools and modern DevOps practices
• Familiarity with cloud environments, containerization, or infrastructure automation is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
